Wolverhampton Glass has been nominated for Best Installer at this year’s G-Awards – after just one year of trading under Sustainium Group.
The West Midlands-based window, door, and conservatory installer was acquired last June by Sustainium, a group set up to acquire local home improvement companies and invest in their future.
And despite the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic the company has thrived. As well as opening a brand-new state-of-the-art showroom, the company has built new operations, installation, and sales teams and gained positive reviews – and it clearly impressed the judges.
Neal Harper, Wolverhampton Glass’ Managing Director, said: “Acquiring a business with virtually no infrastructure and re-establishing a renowned brand name that had been left to falter, considering the lockdown labour shortage and supply chain issues, has required a big effort.
“So, we are absolutely delighted to receive a nomination for Best Installer at this year’s G-Awards. A G-award is the highest possible accolade in the glass and glazing industry, so this tops off what has been a wonderful 12 months.”
The awards, which was unfortunately cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, will take place on November 26 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
Wolverhampton Glass is proud to have installed windows and doors in more than 25,000 homes across the Midlands in the last 45 years. For more information on any of the above, call 01902 773831, or email sales@wolverhamptonglass.co.uk
